This registration session will:

  • Gather Player and Parent/Guardian information
  • Allow you to complete and electronically sign waivers (must agree that your electronic signature is as legal and binding as your hand written signature).
  • Accept your payment for the PW and Bantam Summer Weekend Checking Clinic fees

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or eCheck available.  Following the successful completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Colorado Thunderbirds.

All fees are non-refundable.


USA Hockey Requirement

In order to continue registering you must have a current 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 USA Hockey confirmation number. If you do not have a confirmation number, please first register at USA Hockey then return back to this page to complete registration with your organization.

Develop Essential Checking Skills!

Colorado Thunderbirds are proud to present our Summer Weekend Checking Clinic, designed for PeeWee and Bantam-aged players.  This intensive two-day clinic is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your body contact skills in a focused, supportive environment under the guidance of Colorado Thunderbirds experienced Coaches!

Thunderbirds Weekend Comprehensive Checking Clinic provides two 85-minute sessions focusing on vital aspects of body contact including, but not limited to:
Safe and Effective Checks:  Learn to give and receive body checks properly
Puck Protection:  Use your body to shield the puck from opponents
Skating and Edge Work:  Improve your stability and agility for better contact absorption
Safety in Contact:  Techniques for staying safe in various contact scenarios
Creating Space:  Utilize body contact strategically to enhance your gameplay
Puck Battles:  Strengthen your skills in winning puck possessions and competitions
